Dear Management Team of The Crown -

During the recent storm and power outage, I volunteered at the West Hartford Senior Center on Bishops Corner. Originally, it was set up for a recharging/warming center but in no time it was evident that meals had to be served to those people coming in to the center. My thanks to you for the sliced meats and bread. We were able to feed hundreds of hungry individuals. An even more pleasant surprise was the huge cake with a bib with name Emily on it.

I don't know if you had the opportunity to look into the faces of the seniors or some of the families that you helped during this tragic event, but I did see tears and smiles of gratification from many of them.

You may not be the biggest supermarket in West Hartford, but your heart definitely is. My wife and I have been shopping at the Crown for years and you can be sure that we'll be there for many more.

I want to express my sincere thanks to you & the staff at Crown for making & delivering the platteres I had ordered for my husband's unveiling on Sunday, October 30th.

   Since I had lost power the night before, I had no idea of the damage the storm had caused throughout the state.  Never-the-less I had relatives in from Florida & Illinois and we went ahead with the unveiling.  Everyone appreciated the food when we returned.

   Thank you & your staff for your dedication & a special thanks to the you man who made the delivery.
