Emanuel Synagogue Invites the Community to Friday Fling June 1

Friday Fling:  BBQ and Family Friendly Shabbat is hosted by The Emanuel Synagogue, Friday evening, June 1, 2012, 160 Mohegan Drive, West Hartford, 06117. The evening begins with a program for families with young children at 5:00 pm in the synagogue Early Childhood Center. From 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm there is an inflatable bouncer for kids and a BBQ dinner for all. At 7:00 pm a Family Friendly Shabbat Service will be held.

The dinner is free to prospective members. Emanuel members who bring prospective member guests will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card! Cost for synagogue members and community members not “synagogue shopping” is $10/adult, $5/child ages 6-12, free for children age 5 and under, $30/family cap for families with school children through grade 12.

Joel has been the opener for Jon Stewart and Lewis Black, and is author of The Crybaby Brigade. Tickets are $25/in advance, $35/at the door and $40/up-front seating. You don't have to attend Comedy Night to bid on or win auction items. Winners will either pick up their prizes in gift certificate form the evening of May 12, or by some other arrangement made with the auction organizer.
