Our Bakery
The Crown Market has been known for decades throughout Connecticut and Western Massachusetts for its delicious take-out and wrapped baked goods. Most items are baked from scratch in house! Who hasn’t ducked in to the Crown to satisfy a sweet tooth or bring home a surprise for a love one?
The Crown Market’s Bakery is well-known for it’s fresh Challah, Muffins, Mandel Bread, Rye Bread, Babka, Sour Cream Cake, Kickel, Seven Layer Cake, Rugelach, Bagels, Danish and Croissants. Once you have visited our Bakery, it will be hard to keep you away.
THE CROWN BAKERY IS UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE HARTFORD KASHRUTH COMMISSION (HKC) in a partnership with Rabbi Yitzchok Adler, Beth David Synagogue, Rabbi Tuvia Brander, Young Israel of West Hartford, and Rabbi Yosef Wolvovsky, Chabad.

Above cakes come with balloons or flowers in choice of color as well as basic inscriptions (Happy Birthday, Mazel Tov, Congratulations, etc.). Other decorations are considered custom artwork and are charged based on complexity and time for work requested. Advance notice for any customizations is required.

Call ahead to order multiple of any of our daily breads or challahs. Looking for a challah that will wow the crowd? Ask about our Ceremonial Challah – a 5 Lb loaf made special for your event!
Cookie Platters
All cookie platters come in Dairy or Parve. They contain a random assortment of cookies and pastries unless otherwise specified. Please allow at least 24 hours advance notice for any cookie platter orders.
