The Crown Market
We boast the best gourmet take-out, catering services as well as freshly baked goods. The Crown Market also is proud to offer a number of Kosher items produced in the local area.
Located at 2471 Albany Avenue in West Hartford, Connecticut’s Bishop’s Corner neighborhood, the Crown Market is open daily from 8 am to 8 pm and on Friday until sundown throughout the year. We are closed every Saturday for Shabbat observance.
Our goal is to be your one stop for all your food shopping needs — on a daily basis, for special family life events, and throughout the year during Jewish and secular holidays.
In 2016, the Crown Market completed a modern renovation with new lighting, refrigeration and other infrastructure updates and additions. Today the store includes all the traditional items that has made the The Crown Market Connecticut’s top Kosher Market for 75 years and added a new Cafe and seating to enjoy great food and company throughout the day.
The Staff
The Crown Market staff, many of which have worked at the store for decades, some of which you see and others who are working in our kitchens behind the scenes, remain the heart of our day-to-day operations.
